unwrap the beast 

tree places the brackets need to sit

dry fit to start the measure, measure and measure again.

the end of the canopy will end on the rear seam, if all goes to plan.

fit new longer roof rail.

mark holes at 120 enters.

holes for M8.

test

test fit, looks good.

slight gap which Sikaflex will fill

new longer top rail fitted and position of first bracket.

measure, check and measure again  

the holes are off set.

bolted on and secure

wrap up to save van and awning from scratching  

lift up slowly with 4 ratchet straps. 

turn to align brackets

now raise the rail to line up holes

boom bolt up with 2-4 inches gap for room to add Sikaflex

nice gap for the sikaflex

lower on to three 5 inch square pads of Sikaflex and lower rail and tighten up.

all good just need to pull solar panels back into place

nice even bed all round
